Barista: David Lee-Schneider

David Lee-Schneider has been working in the hospitality industry for more than a decade.
For the past 3 years he has been passing on his knowledge and passion for coffee to people from over a dozen different countries.

As barista coach and hospitality business consultant David has helped businesses from Europe, China and Australia to train their staff as professional barista and establish successful ventures.

Behind the coffee machine, David hooks his students with a blend of joy that’s never forced, charm that’s never contrived and honesty that never fails to deliver.

We will finally be back this coming Monday, January 9. As usual from 7am.

We look forward to serving you our house blend of freshly in-house roasted coffee once again, for another year.

And to start the year on the right foot, here a little poem for you to take away.

It’s definitely on my list of new year resolutions

I Promise Myself…

To be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind.

To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person I meet.

To make all my friends feel that there is something worthwhile in them.

To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true.

To think only of the best, to work only for the best and to expect only the best.

To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own.

To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.

To wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every living creature I meet.

To give so much time to improving myself that I have no time to criticize others.

To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

To think well of myself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds.

To live in the faith that the whole world is on my side, so long as I am true to the best that is in me.

Now where days are getting longer and warmer again Cherubinis will be open a little longer on weekdays. You can now enjoy a cuppa until 6pm, Monday to Friday. On Saturdays and Sundays we will stay open until 3pm.

Kitchen will still be closing at 3pm daily, but sandwiches, wraps and snack are available as long as they last.

We hope to see you again soon!
